TWO GIRLS FROM HARTLEPOOL. TWO CAREERS. ONE HOME.

Fight Like a Girl was founded by two girls who grew up in the same town and took very different roads. Savannah Marshall fought her way to the top of the boxing ring, becoming a world champion and a two-time Olympian. Eve Lister worked her way to the boardroom table. Different careers, same home, and the same proof of what it means to fight like a girl.

Taking it back

They both know how often "fight like a girl" is used as an insult. They also know the truth: it takes strength, resilience and courage, whether you're in the ring or in the boardroom. So they took the phrase back.

What started in 2024 as a way to help women feel powerful has become a movement for the girls who need it most.

Why we're here

OUR MISSION

To use non-contact boxing, self-defence and confidence-building to help girls and young women feel safe, strong and capable, in trauma-informed, female-led spaces that are theirs.

OUR VISION

To rewrite the narrative, so that every girl knows her own strength, feels empowered to take up space, and is inspired by women who've done it. Where "fight like a girl" is never an insult, always a statement.

  • DEFEND.

Real skills and awareness to stay safe. Knowing what to do, and knowing you can.

  • EMPOWER.

Voice, confidence and taking up space, in the ring and everywhere else.

  • INSPIRE.

Role models who've done it, and paths to lasting change.
